ooMu™ is a trademark of BooMuKids™, a 501c3, nonprofit organization.

BooMu hopes to help children thrive and achieve their dreams by building a solid foundation in reading at a young age through the use of books and music.

All BooMu books have accompanying songs to help keep children entertained and build literacy skills. Our songs can be found by searching “BooMu” at many online retailers, including:

About the Author

Dorothy Devereux is a children’s book author who lives in Fair Oaks, CA. She began writing books twenty years ago when her children were in kindergarten. She has teamed up with an accomplished musician, Katy Lynch, to create a fun way to enjoy learning.

Dorothy has worked with people with disabilities for many years and so has a special insight and sensitivity to the challenges they face. Her experiences in this work contribute to the content of many of her stories, helping children to read about them at their own level with compassion and understanding.

BooMuKids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We donate books, music and videos to children’s hospitals.

With your support, BooMuKids will donate a digital tablet loaded with BooMu stories and videos to a children’s hospital in your name for the enjoyment of its little patients.
